Soniro is a planner you manage by talking to it. This page explains what data is stored, where and why, in the same plain language the app is written in.

Who is responsible for your data

Soniro App, tax ID 41661788W, calle Romaní, 29, 07420 Sa Pobla, Illes Balears (Spain). Write to support@soniro.app about anything to do with your data.

First, because it's the most asked: your voice

The audio of what you dictate never leaves your phone. Your device's own operating system does the transcription, offline and without going through us. What leaves your phone is the already transcribed text, and only when you have a connection and AI captures left.

What is stored, and what for

What What for
Your reminders: the text, date and time, priority, repetition and early alerts It's the content of the app. Without this there is no product
Your sections and their settings Organizing your reminders
Which reminders you have completed, and your streak The consistency chart on the home screen
Your email address, if you sign up Identifying you so your data follows you to another device
The name you give us when creating the account Greeting you by name inside the app. Nothing else
How many AI captures you have used this month Applying the free plan's limit
A random identifier for this installation Checking whether there is an app update. It is generated on your device, says nothing about who you are, and changes if you reinstall
The text of the last serious error, if the app closed by itself Knowing that it failed so it can be fixed

You can use Soniro without giving any personal data. Without signing up, the app works in full: everything is stored on your device and an anonymous account is created that only serves to sync. We don't ask for your phone number, your date of birth or your contacts.

If you decide to create an account we ask for an email and a name. The name is only used to greet you inside the app: nobody else sees it, it doesn't have to be your real one, and you can change it whenever you like in Settings.

Where it is stored

On your device always, and also on Supabase servers hosted in Ireland (European Union) if you have a connection. Each user can only read and write their own rows: that is enforced by the database, not by the app.

App updates

Soniro updates itself without going through the App Store, and for that its update service —Expo, in the United States— receives, on each launch, a random identifier for your installation and, if the app closed by itself the previous time, the text of that error. None of that says who you are, nor does it contain your reminders.

When artificial intelligence is involved

When you dictate something, the transcribed text is sent to a server of ours that turns it into a structured reminder. That server queries a third-party language model. What travels is:

Nothing else from your planner leaves the device this way.

The model provider is Anthropic, in the United States. It does not use this data to train its systems: that is a condition of the contract it is deployed under, not a preference.

If you run out of connection or of AI captures, the sentence neither leaves the phone nor gets saved: the app tells you so, and you can type it by hand.

If you sign in with Apple or Google

We receive only the account identifier and the email address. We do not receive the password or any other data from those services. If you use Sign in with Apple, you can hide your real email and it will work just the same.

If you subscribe

Payment is handled by Apple. We neither see nor store your card or any banking data. We use RevenueCat (in the United States) to know whether your subscription is active; it receives an identifier for your account and the status of the purchase.

The alerts

Notifications are scheduled on your own device. There is no server sending you alerts, and that is why a reminder goes off even when you have no signal.

What we don't do

How long it is kept

For as long as you have the account. As soon as you delete it, the data is deleted. Reminders you delete inside the app are marked as deleted for a while so that the deletion reaches your other devices, and after that they disappear.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, delete it, object to its processing, restrict it and ask for a portable copy. Two of those you have in the app itself, without writing to anyone:

For anything else, write to support@soniro.app. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Minors

Soniro is not aimed at anyone under 14, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this changes in any significant way, you will be told inside the app. The date above says when it was last updated.

This is a translation, provided so you can read it in your own language. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version is the one that applies.
